This wedding was the perfect one to kick off the year with. A true winter wedding, with snow coverage on the ground in Leesburg, VA. Jaci and Josh even braved the cold to get some stunning portraits in the snow. Jaci is a friend from college, so it was even more special to capture this wedding! Their day was filled with so many sweet moments and SO much love all around. Some of my favorite photos from this gallery are of the candid moments of pure joy. One of them being their parents and some family members overlooking Jaci and Josh’s first look on the stairwell balcony.

Raspberry Plain Manor made for the perfect backdrop for an indoor ceremony, with beautiful windows providing gorgeous natural light. Josh’s one request was to take their portraits outside, and I was absolutely going to make sure that happened! With it being a winter wedding they didn’t want to have their wedding party freeze outside, but they were more than willing to brave the weather for photos outside. After the ceremony, we ventured outside for some quick photos in the snow. The sun was setting perfectly in the distance for that stunning light and the wind even helped with some added dimension to the train of Jaci’s dress blowing in the wind. Truly couldn’t have wished for a better wedding day for these two!
